On July 18, 2010, a rare flood caused a sea of water in Yanglie Village, Juntang Town, Xuanhan County. The water soaked for 22 hours, and the average depth of water in the village was 8 meters, with the deepest being 12 meters. 347 houses were damaged and 592 people from 169 households were affected. Merciless flood, so that the foreign fierce people suffered the disaster, warm and pleasant home suddenly became the ruins of devastation.

In the face of post-disaster reconstruction, Xuanhan County Committee and county government clearly put forward that reconstruction is not a simple "clone", but advance planning, perfect function, optimize structure, highlight characteristics, and turn the disaster area into a scenic spot. Drawing lessons from the reconstruction experience of earthquake-stricken areas, the county combines the construction of new rural complex with post-disaster reconstruction and shaping of folk customs, and builds Yanglie New Village into a "No.1 village in eastern Sichuan" that integrates "business and tourism, leisure and vacation, education support, residence and entrepreneurship, and urban-rural interaction". Nowadays, Yanglie New Village has been built into a scenic spot of lake and mountain scenery with "houses sitting in the forest, water flowing down the window and people swimming in the painting".

At the same time, Xuanhan County Committee and county government combined with Yanglie New Village and new rural complex construction, also vigorously develop characteristic agriculture, sightseeing agriculture and rural tourism in the surrounding Yangjia River and Bamiao River. The supporting Yangjiahe Waterfront corridor has become an ecological landscape gallery in eastern Sichuan with "unique scenery and one color of landscape", and Yanglie New Village is a bright pearl embedded in the gallery.
